• Received a Diploma in Audiovisual Media from the Academy of Media Arts Cologne
• Worked as freelance TV designer and animator at several television stations (RTL, ARD°/°WDR, Sat.1, ntv and ARD°/°HR)
• Launched blurmedia (2001), a design studio specializing in title sequences and design for film and television, 2D/3D animation, animated commercials and DVD production. Client include ARD, arte, Deutsche Bahn, RTL, Sony-BMG, Deutsche Telekom, UniversumFilm, VIVA, WDR and ZDF
• Nomination committee member for the annual Grimme Online Awards since 2007
• Plenum member of the chamber of industry and commerce colonge since 2010
